Sheena Santamaria is a Filipina American comedy writer and SAG-AFTRA actor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Orange County, CA, she earned her BA in Global Studies from UCLA and her Msc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics (how she did not become a diplomat as intended remains unclear).
Sheena was previously a writer on Maude Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and has written sketches for Filipino AF and Gayasian AF. She also wrote on the audio romance dramas Stolen Legacy (1.1 million listens) and Hack My Heart (928,000+ listens) for Pocket FM.
Her original comedic pilots have placed in competitions such as the Austin Film Festival and Final Draft Big Break. You can learn more about her scripts and placements here.
When she's not writing, Sheena consumes copious amounts of k-pop and Korean dramas and plays video games such as Stardew Valley.
